Wes Guillemaud, Founder & CEO
Wes Guillemaud founded Sorcity.Com Inc. on May 7, 1999 with a revolutionary concept to dramatically improve supply chain efficiency while providing significant value to both buyers and sellers. With 20 years business experience as entrepreneur, consultant at EDS and Principal Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers, he spent the past decade specifically focused on e-Business. Mr. Guillemaud has developed and implemented e-Business strategies, process improvement and innovative technical solutions for Fortune 500 companies nationally and abroad while more recently specializing in Electronic Procurement. Initiatives include business-to-business and business-to-consumer solutions for several industries including; retail, manufacturing, high-technology, consumer products, transportation, food & beverage and energy. In addition to his practical experience, Wes has written, presented on numerous e-Business topics and is considered a visionary in the e-Business arena. Sorcity.com is the second company Mr Guillemaud founded which is designed to significantly improve the sourcing process and become a leading Internet success.
C. Thomas Daulton, Chief Financial Officer
Tom Daulton has over 25 years of experience working with small and medium sized businesses, primarily in the Dallas Ft. Worth metropolis. This includes eight years as a lending officer for MBank Dallas where his loan portfolio reached in excess of $100 million. Subsequently, he held the position of CFO at a medium sized printing company. The last nine years he has been an equity investor in small businesses either for sale or in need of growth capital. Mr. Daulton earned his Master of Business Administration in 1981 from the University of Texas at Austin, with an emphasis in finance and accounting. He earned a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of New Mexico in 1977.
Dan Hooper, Business Development VP
Dan has over 20 years experience building and growing companies focusing
energy and commitment around the principle that nothing really matters
until a sale is made. Dan grew the top sales and marketing division of
ePartners in Dallas, ranked number 3 in the Inc 500 fastest growing
companies in 2000. Prior to ePartners Dan built the sales and marketing
arm for a startup professional services organization to become a
regional leader in the Southwest. Dan has successfully delivered on
numerous turn-on/turn-around assignments, both domestically as well as
internationally.
Cheryl Duda-Harte, VP Marketing
Over 15 years of experience in the high-tech industry, including 7 years
of executive positions in marketing. She gained a breadth of experience
with a large multinational corporation and several startups, two through
IPO. Cheryl has worked in a variety of companies from IT services to
enterprise software to retail. She has consulted emerging companies in
the identification, shaping and communication of their brand, marketing
and product strategies in addition to helping shape their business
models and navigate the fund-raising process. Cheryl received her MBA
from Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
Matthew Frohman, Technology Director
Mr. Frohman has over 25 years experience in software development including 11 years at a leading telecommunications firm. He developed database applications for both land line and wire line telephone networks of many long distance carriers throughout the world. These systems were developed using C++ using relational and object oriented databases. In 1995, he began operating his own Web server. Mr. Frohman developed several database driven Web sites and led the development of others to meet specific client business applications. Web site development includes a bookstore shopping cart, online inventory system, a job search system for a high technology recruiting firm, an online newspaper, and a sales quote system for a major computer manufacturer. These business sites have provided these companies a competitive advantage.
Katie Aron, Webmaster
In addition to her other experience, Ms. Aron has spent the last seven years focused on Internet web design and development. Her experience includes the development of corporate Intranets, Internet web sites, customer demos and other unique solutions to the leverage power of the Internet. Ms. Aron has been featured in Internet World and other publications discussing her success in creating efficient and functional web solutions. Katie has applied new Internet technologies as they emerged to take early web sites from simply a "presence on the Internet" to create "true e-commerce solutions" for business, making them more interactive, dynamic and revenue generating. Ms. Aron has knowledge in marketing and advertising strategies for all types of web solutions. She has done work for several prominent companies. Ms. Aron also teaches web design and development courses.
